Having grown up in a harsh and unstable family, he desires a more structured and predictable life, or at least as predictable as life can get, anyway. Shuga desires to not be like either of his parents, hoping to take a better path, and be someone others can aspire to. He can be fierce and relentless when required, and is generally assertive, but is reasonable and quite willing to listen to others.
