Changing personality to: Born with an abundance of magic and a strong affinity for flame, Sunder's gift was made known when his surroundings caught fire the moment he first opened his eyes.
At first, this power seemed like a blessing, the pup proving gifted in learning to control his power. However, as he grew older, the growth of Sunder's magic began to outpace his body's ability to adjust. Though it started as minor aches and discomfort, the pain slowly grew over the years of his childhood and adolescence until it was almost unbearable, despite the efforts of his parents, village, and even the magi of Vitalus - for his parents took him to the land of magic in hopes someone could aid their son.
Seemingly destined to live with chronic pain, Sunder accepted his fate with surprising grace - or perhaps not so surprising to those who knew him well - and focused on learning to cope, rather than cures. Exercising his inner flames helped with the pain, as did the Vitalus treatments, and so Sunder continued to visit the land so far from his home - and with such extensive training, his elemental might became formidable indeed.
Sunder, whether despite or because of his great power, is a perhaps surprisingly gentle soul, not one inclined towards violence unless threatened, and both reserved and rational. He is one to analyze his situation, and the surrounding environment, attuning his senses to the elements to understand how best to proceed. Kind and considerate, Sunder's quiet, warm presence is easy to take for granted - but his absence is felt keenly.
