However, his gaze remains fixed on yours, instilling a disquiet within you. As he starts to pivot, a pause lingers. "Yet," he adds, his voice trailing, "what weight do words carry from untested mouths? Walk through the crucible, and only then shall we know the true extent of your devotion." A smirk tugs at his lips, and a queasy sensation tightens your gut as you hear the sound of immensely heavy footfalls to your left. Shira, the leader of the Order, emerges, her teeth bared. "You have twenty minutes," she snarls, a glint of delight in her eyes.
