Born to one of the richest families in Thedale, Koru was raised among wealth and high-born peers. He has a multitude of siblings and extended family, but stands out from all of them due to his generous nature and desire to mingle with lower-born children of his age. Koru received much judgement and bullying from his family when he was young due to this, but despite their efforts, he never gave up on his views. Partially this was thanks to an ability that sparked quite early in his life; to see visions in flames.
As he got older, Koru became more and more reserved, spending time in his expansive study, struggling to adjust to his seer abilities. The fleeting lives, the paths he could see, the people he'd never met- it all took a toll on him mentally, turning him into a recluse in his early teen years. Only when he'd stepped into his adulthood, did he fully have a grasp on himself again. His time in his study grew him into the reserved but understanding person he is, even further encouraging his generosity and kindness with his insight of how fleeting life is in the big picture. He took to teaching other gifted individuals who struggled with similar things as him, and found his passion to delve deeper into magic, and even took to learning the stars to make further sense of his own.
As an adult, Koru spends more time with his family, attending events and the likes, slowly rebuilding a social life. He quickly found how easily people try to take advantage of him or his family to get to their abundant wealth, however, and this discouraged him from building deeper bonds. He isn't as carefree as his brothers, and isn't drawn to plain beauty, but the public seems all the more drawn to him thanks to his warmth and known kindness towards the people.
Very few have managed to develop strong relationships with this reserved seer, but through proper show of character and acts of honesty and integrity, Koru now has a small circle of people he cares for and trusts the most.
