A Sparkling Gift - (Tranquil 2)
When Wassail made his way back to the Tranquils territory, he was greeted by a pink and white fluffy Haedian. He sat with a smile, watching the scarlet and sea moss green runner approach with the empty baskets.
“Welcome, topsider, to the main territory for my humble clan. My name is Pyrri, I hope to make your acquaintance through our time together.” The haedian spoke softly, a grin playing along her lips.
“Thank you for inviting me to meet your clan Pyrri, your clan members are extremely helpful. Both within your borders and to the other clans.” Wassail smiled in return, “My name is Wassail, it is a pleasure to meet you.”
The scarlet winged runner bowed his head as he sat near the leader, who was setting out a multitude of different crystals on the ground in front of herself. Some were small, others larger, even more were cut into different shapes.
“Do you know anything about healing with crystals? I am, unfortunately, unaware of if you do have this practice up above ground.” Pyrri sighed a small bit, tilting her head with a curious look.
“I believe we do, it is not something I myself know a large amount of though.” Wassail spoke truthfully, wincing a little when they came out a tiny bit less confident then he had expected.
Pyrri let out a chuckle. Her feathered tail was splayed out behind her, dusting over glowing crystals which cast an interesting shadow across the ceiling.
“Well, if you are cordial enough to learn, I would be more than happy to teach you.” The pink and white fuzz covered haedian chirped.
“Of course. I have a friend who would love to have more knowledge of things that are holistically medicinal.” Wassail inclined his head in a nod of knowing.
“Wonderful!” Pyrri clapped her front paws together quickly as he gestured to the mass of crystals in front of her.
“Let us start with the basics of what crystal healing helps with. So within each of us, lies a network of flowing energy.” The white and pink haedian placed a paw on the center of her chest and made a motion outwards, “These energy wavelengths help to regulate our inner workings. But when they fall out of line with each other, it can throw everything off. A daily stresser, an unexpected change, these things can cause this dis alignment which can cause a multitude of symptoms, including headaches, heightened anxieties, loss of appetite.”
Reaching for a purple colored crystal spire, Pyrri took it within her slender fingered paws.
“One of the most common crystals worked with is Amethyst. Used to help with reducing stress, and aiding in sleep, this is one of your best tools within crystal healing. Another popular one is rose quartz. Helpful within the realm of relationships, it's said to aid with bringing balance within your emotions.” Pyrri motioned to a light pink shimmering oval stone.
“It must be hard to remember everything… As there must be a lot of different ways to use each one?” Wassail tilted his head, looking between all the crystals and the Haedian in front of him.
The scarlet and sea moss green runner reached a paw out to the stones himself. When he touched one with his pawpads, he felt it humming under it. Similar to a baby shock from an electrical elementalest, it wasn’t very strong, but it was noticeable.
“Is it humming normal?” Wassail pulled his paw back in a moment of startle.
“It is when the stone wishes to connect and resonate with you, it is. I am quite surprised that one took to you as quickly as it had. Most do not find a match for a long while.” Pyrri hummed, picking up the gemstone between her claws.
When she turned it over, Wassail noticed how, in certain light, the gem would flash bits of color. It seemed like a rainbow was held within the confines of the gem.
“What is this one called?” Wassail tilted his head, his large ears falling back against his neck.
“This one is called labradorite. This kinda gem is incredibly beautiful when held to the light, as you had seen. It is one that helps with self discovery and transformation. Perhaps it knows that you are on your own journey, be it because of another guidance initially.” Pyrri smiled sweetly at Wassail, who gave a light laugh.
“I guess I am. The Elder encouraged us to come and learn. Of the clans I have met, it's been incredibly interesting.” The winged runner hummed, letting himself relax a bit, “I wish to thank you, Pyrri, for teaching me something new.”
“Of course, young Wassail. I hope your new knowledge helps you in the future.” The pink and white haedian grinned, “I also wish to gift you a small set of crystals for you to use in the future.”
She held out a small pouch in her paw. Wassail grasped it between his teeth before putting it carefully within his packs.
“Thank you, for such a wonderful gift, as soon as I can return I will return the gesture.” The runner returned the grin.
