[DRUIDS] Seed

Adéwalé's maw opened slightly as he watched the tree glow to his touch, the haedians looked in awe as they witnessed the tree's reaction. It was from that moment on did the empyrian fully earn the Druids' trust.

"You managed to connect to the tree," one of them said with a smile. "I'd say that that earns you a title! Like the others before you, and the others before them, and the- well you get it.""Title? Others?" Adéwalé responded, tilting his head a bit in confusion. What kind of title would they give him, he wondered, and what meaning would it hold that the clan would give it to him due to the Oracle reacting to his touch with a glow. It was something that he didn't understand, but it was also something he wanted to know more about."Guardian of The Tree- no wait- Guardian of The Wood!" one of them chirped, sitting down and clapping their claws together once. The taller empyrian let out a silent 'oh', still not understanding what it would mean for a tyrian like him. "It means you are one of the few that can approach the tree without an escort! It is a high honor rank suitable for tyrians like you!" they looked up at him with a big smile spreading across their face.

"Oh!" Adéwalé gasped out, finally understanding. He looked back at the tree that now ceased glowing, flowers still in bloom, what few dew drops that fell from the open ceiling dripping down the leaves, glistening in the sunlight. "I guess it does…" he murmured, looking back at the haedian. "What now?" he asked, looking down at the smaller tyrian.

"Now…." the haedian paused, tapping their chin with their claw before remembering. "Now I take you to Auris! He has something special to give you, a very exciting moment I never thought I'd live to see the day!" they cheered as they hopped up onto their legs to lead the empyrian to the leader. Adéwalé couldn't help but smile, the haedian looked very excited about this moment, from what he knows it is very important to the Druids as a whole. He ducked under foliages that the haedian had no problem walking under and carefully tread upon the grass populated by little plants that he could accidentally crush.

"Auris usually gives them out on very special occasions like this," the smaller tyrian informed, "it's one of the Oracle's dormant seeds, not a lot are sure what to do with it since some think they should be only one Oracle, so they keep it as a keepsake." the haedian explained more. Adéwalé nodded and listened on, eager to hear more of the Oracle tree and its seeds. So much to learn but he wasn't sure if he had little time. The Druids cave was like a maze that even locals could get occasionally lost, so they kept note of the plants and foliage that were special to some areas. Maybe he should be doing that too, just in case he were to visit again.

"How long would it take to get to Auris." the empyrian asked, pulling away some foliage so he could pass through. The haedian looked behind them to look at him and hummed.

"I'd say… right about… now!" they chirped again, looking up at Auris who was tending to some of the sick plants. The gold and blue haedian looked down in response to the sudden noise, he looked at the haedian and then at Adéwalé, grinning a bit.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend, but, I did hear the news that the tree reacted to your touch, how it pulsed and glowed. I'm impressed." Auris complimented, flying down to meet with the haedian and Adéwalé. He looked down at the haedian, "Thank you for bringing him here, you're free to go." and with that the haedian left with skips in their walks.

Auris approached the larger tyrian in front of him, "Hold out your claw." he asked, Adéwalé did as he was told and held out his claw for the Auris to hold. The haedian placed a claw on the backside of the empyrian's claw, and placed another on top of that, pulling away to reveal the Oracle's dormant seed. Adéwalé marveled at its small yet intricate patterns, how even when dormant the seed glowed under the sun's reflection. "You've earned it, you've proven yourself that you can be trusted." Auris smiled as he spoke, Adéwalé smiled too. "Now, from what I heard, you plan to be visiting the Watcher's right?" the gold and blue haedian asked.

"Yes," Adéwalé confirmed, unsure why Auris would ask.

"Be careful while traversing the tunnels, they're not suited for a tyrian of your size." Auris explained, after that he stood up and flew off. Adéwalé watching as he did.
