The DepthStriders - Prompt 3 A

Isa, Aouli, and Aerwyna were happily exploring the various stalls and shops across the Depthstriders territory. The trio looked absolutely fabulous with their coats painted from the previous stall they had visited and the trio was having a fantastic time wandering around the stunning waterlogged city. As the group made their way past yet another stall that boasted about its festival banners a small group caught their eye. Up ahead the trio was shocked to see another group of surface dwellers leaving a stall. A dark angry looking runner was leading a small green tyrian and an incredibly tacky pink chaser down the main street away from them. After Isa pointed them out, the trio was very curious to see what the stall they had just been in was. They entered the stall to see a myriad of crafting supplies, pre-made clothes, ready to sew fabrics, and a rainbow of gemstones and coral pieces. There was a haedian in the stall sorting out the various materials and rearranging the clothing supplies.

The haedian was wearing copious amounts of costume jewelry that jangled pleasantly as they moved around. The haedian noticed the wide eyed new set of surface dwellers and quickly turned to greet them, “Oh? More surface dwellers? Welcome!” The haedian happily greeted them with a smile before ushering them all properly into the space. “Welcome to the Crafting Grove~ Here you can assemble any sort of clothing or jewelry you can dream up! There is a small flat fee to keep anything you make but if you just want to make anything feel free to experiment and see where it leads you." The haedian gave its well rehearsed and often repeated intro lines before showing the group the various materials they could work with. It eyed the two runners wearily wondering if the rainbow painted vayrons would have as awful a sense of taste as the little pink creature from before.

The haedian left them to it as the excited trio started to browse the materials. None of them were super crafty or really good with their paws but they were familiar with braiding and knotting from their time in the united mounted patrol. After browsing for a while they didn’t really see any clothing or cloth that caught their eye but the strings and yarns seemed promising. The trio huddled around the assortment of strings and started to pick out the colors they preferred. Isa and Aerwyna picked out silver and gold thread while Aouli picked out a combination of purple, orange, and gold. The stall owner peeked over at what they were working on occasionally and inwardly sighed with relief to see the group had some sense of fashion. The trio got to work weaving their threads together to make woven cord accessories. Isa and Aweryna both decided to keep their creations simple and were planning on only making simple bracelets for each other. Their bracelets were a lovely combination of silver and gold and the duo couldn’t help but giggle together and poke fun at each other for how romantic they were both trying to be. Aouli on the other hand decided he wanted to try something a little bigger and was going to try to make a dual cord necklace.

The trio happily wove their respective threads together while chatting and enjoying the relaxing down time they were finally getting. It had been quite the hectic experience down in the Beneath so far and it felt wonderful to finally have a moment among themselves to just relax. Before long the two runners held up their creations proudly, they still needed to tie the two ends of their cords together to make the actual bracelets but the woven cord was sturdy and quite pretty if they do say so. The mated duo exchanged bracelets and carrassed each other lovingly while they affixed their creation to their mates foreleg. The duo's blatant romantic displays always made Aouli a little jealous but more than that he was happy that his friends were so happy with each other. The puller looked down at his own creation which was still a ways off from being done. His neck was quite thick and he needed to weave two cords so his project was going to take a considerably longer time than the two runners. His companions didn’t mind at all as they could use the opportunity to further browse the haedians goods.

Aouli worked diligently on weaving his necklace while the two runners looked through the various trinkets others had left behind. Slowly but surely his necklace took shape but as he stared at the almost finished product it felt a little empty. The girls noticed his predicament and then sifted through the gems they were looking at to present him with a small orangish pink gemstone. It was very small, about the size of one of his claws but he loved the color and enthusiastically thanked the runners for their input. The puller carefully inlaid the gem into the front of the top cord and then asked the stall owner for assistance in finishing the cord loop. The haedian happily agreed to help and pulled the necklace across the puller's neck and securely tied it into place. Once all three of them had their adornments in place they all fell in love with the results of their efforts. With a broad smile they all happily purchase their creations from the stall owner much to the haedians delight.

Aouli, Isa, and Aerwyna visit the crafting stall and make some lovely jewelry.

This is the one i actually have to submit cause i used this trio for the first 2 prompts but i like the other one i typed better

Prompt: Draw or write your reosean attempting to join in on the Coral Crafting fun. They could be  crafting a necklace out of glowing coral, or attempting to sew waterproof fabrics together. Or maybe your reosean is more likely to try something on than make it.
