Blissful Serenity
B: The territory of the Tranquil was peaceful and beautiful in a dark and filled with colorful light kind of way. Noka wasn’t the biggest fan of dark places, but the illuminating light of the plants and fauna in the area was comforting that fear. The amount of fauna flying and running about, the plants that practically overflowed on the walls and floors, and the beautiful glowing pools of clear water that ran in narrow falls from the walls and ceiling were breathtaking. And despite all the life around, it was almost quietly melodic down there. The whole concept of the Tranquils did have Noka smiling, as she herself was a renowned healer and herbalist in Roenden. While the flora here was very unfamiliar, she never turned down an opportunity to learn new things, especially when it came to healing remedies. It was almost unlike her with how eagerly she conversed with Pyrri, though her tone remained as soft as ever, she had spoken much more than with any of the prior clans.
The blossoming plants that grew around her paws were blooming in all sorts of colors, and she had expressed interest in learning about the flora down in the depths so as to grow them herself. If her magic was to tap into the flow of life and growth down here, she could help grow herbs and make potions if they showed her how.
A: Eyes wandered to each glowing plant she could see, paws reaching out to stroke the leaves of one of the bigger plants beside her. Sure, in Vitalus plants glowed, but not near as bright as the ones here. The runner was amazed that even the animals around them seemed to glow as well. Fascinating discoveries that could be added to her studies, and maybe she could stay down here for a while to research some of the critters as well. Antlia hoped she could anyway, though she wouldn’t want to intrude if they didn’t want her to.
Her attention was drawn away from the flowers and the animals, and all that met the eye when she saw what she presumed to be the leader of the clan. Nora and the Haedian had been conversing for a while from what Antlia could tell, but Pyrri’s coat was fascinating to her. Maybe it wouldn’t be hard for her to stay here and write for them, that way they’d have documentation for themselves and what was and was not safe to be around.
Walking over to the two, Antlia sat down and dipped her head in a bow. “The air around your clan seems so tranquil and full of life. Even the animals show no fear when you approach. I’d like to offer my scholarly skills to you in exchange for learning more about your ecosystem down here. I also know how to make a bandage or two.”
B: After proper introductions, Pyrri kindly showed the two Vayrons around the sanctuary they were in, and the many areas it consisted of. Healing dens, alchemical nooks, and the many places for practice and relaxation. While Antlia worked hard to document the many places, practices and plants they came across, Noka was attuning herself to the earth beneath her paws. The energy that flowed between the glowing plans and fauna was so strong yet gentle it made many colorful blossoms around her paws bloom with each step.
Amidst the songs of energy, were a few strings out of tune. Noka excused herself from the group as she followed the trail to one of the small healing dens, where an injured Haedian laid on a mossy bed. A healer was already tending to the patient, but Noka hovered at the entrance, observing carefully at all the ingredients being prepared.
“Might I be of help?” She finally mustered and the healer perked their head to the puller. Noka smiled and nodded her head politely. “I am Nokare, a healer from the surface. I am most curious about the healing procedures and plants here. They’re all so full of life and magic.”
The healer smiled and beckoned the puller to approach. The patient was suffering from a gash on his leg that had come to grow a bit of a rash from a reaction from the plant that made it. She was mixing up a healing ointment to soothe the discomfort and alleviate inflammation. Noka offered her assistance in the preparation, quickly forgetting the chaos of the Brutes in the calm process of helping others.
A: Antlia had followed Noka towards the healer’s den, curious about the magic that went into healing. She watched as the two exchanged formalities, but they were soon forgotten as the runner noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Her body willing itself away as her vision landed upon a rock that seemed to hold many drawings and notes about different practices. It seemed to be a documentary of some sort, but she didn’t know what of. Plants and animals were scattered there, sure, but so were the Haedians that lived in this clan.
Antlia didn’t feel the presence of the Haedian behind her though until Pyrri spoke. “Quite fascinating, isn’t it? We keep documentation on the critters that cross our path, and the plants we’ve found to be helpful. I hope you can find some useful information while you’re here Antlia, I would love to be of help wherever you may need. It would be nice to have some help on the surface whenever need be.”
