The Forgotten Prompt 2

As Candy and Anue trudged after the massive tyrian, the runners noticed multiple haedians struggling to rig up sleds and carts. Taking the opportunity to not rush headlong into another QnA from hell Anue asked the frustrated haedians, “Do you need help with that?” With a grateful look and sighs of relief the haedians agreed and passed some of the rigging over to the rainbow runner. As Anue got to work figuring out the reigns, Candy Queen called out to Erimia who was almost at the cavern entrance at this point. The oblivious tyrian paused when she heard her name and looked back to see who had called. The female rainbow runner picked up a section of the heavy reins and hoisted it up for the tyrian to see while asking, “Give us a hand will yeah? Oh man these things are heavy!” The runners struggled to lift the first set of finished reins up onto the back of the waiting haedian as Erimia hesitated. She didn’t want to waste anymore time but realized that she seemed to be the only one in a rush. Not to mention it was a little selfish and rude to refuse as she watched the runners who were literally a fourth of her size struggle.

With a small sigh the tyrian grudgingly pulled herself away from the cave entrance and got to work helping her fellow surface dwellers rig up the remaining haedians. Once that was finally finished the trio noticed various groups of the Forgotten who were struggling with their raid preparation. When Candy Queen and Anue realized this they happily waved at Erimia to follow them as they happily skipped over to the next group of haedians who needed help. The trio quickly got to work helping with any prep work the Forgotten haedians needed done. One group needed help passing out sacks and bags while another group needed help donning dark clothing to help cover their eye-catching coats. Since the three surface dwellers were just meant to act as the distraction they didn’t really need to prepare anything. In between helping the various haedians with their prep work, Anue and Erimia decided to double check their supplies. They were a little low on food and since they had gifted some of their camping tools to the Forgotten and the Caretakers, once this raid was done they would probably need to head back to the surface to resupply.

Finally after helping what appeared to be the last group of haedians get ready for the trio sat back for a second to survey their raiding party. A sea of rippling dark clothes and fur were eagerly gathering together near the entrance to the cave that Erimia was trying to leave out of earlier. The air was buzzing with excited chatter as the Forgotten’s leader, Troall, could be seen gracefully climbing her way up onto a slightly raised crop of rocks that allowed her to be seen by all the gathered reoseans below. When she saw that her clan was ready she let out a loud whistle that cut through the excited murmuring, drawing everyone's attention to her. Candy Queen, Erimia, and Anue slowly made their way through the crowd until they were standing just below the Forgotten’s leader at the front of the crowd. Erimia looked exceptionally bored while Candy Queen and Anue were noticeably nervous as everyone stared at them when Troall began to speak.

“Listen up everyone! By now you should all know the plan so I’ll keep this short and simple. Stay low, stay together, don’t get too greedy, only take what you need. Look out for each other and remember no matter what grudges you might hold, we are only raiding the Druids for supplies. Do not, again Do Not! Cause unnecessary damage!” She emphasized her last point with a sharp glare in a specific direction of the crowd. The surface dwellers couldn’t tell who exactly the leader was referring to but they could hear the soft whisper of snickering from the excited haedians. Troall’s sharp stare turned into a good natured smirk as she finished up her speech. “That being said, let’s get moving. Follow our visitor and stay safe everyone.” The crowd gave a rowdy cheer as she finished speaking and the various groups began picking up their gear to head out.

Anue then turned to his companions and asked, “Well, you heard the lady. Do we need to do anything else before we go?” to which Erimia frowned and leaned close to the two runners, silently staring. Candy Queen was annoyed by the tyrians' obvious pressuring and inwardly sighed. She had to inwardly remind herself to be patient and that despite her massive size the sunset tyrian was only an adolescent. Deciding to play with the tyrian a bit, Candy hummed and hawd, “Hmmmmm, I don’t know…” she exaggeratedly mused while rubbing her chin. Erimia slowly began to lean down closer and closer, frowning harder and harder as she approached. Candy Queen nonchalantly turned her face away from Erimia to hide her barely contained smile and Anue struggled to choke back his laughter. He decided to play along and made a suggestion through barely stifled laughter, “Maybe if we wore make-up we’d be even more distracting?” The suggestion almost made Candy bust out laughing while Erimia’s frown turned into a full blown scowl as she nearly pressed her head against the rainbow runners with how close she was leaning at them.

Loving the direction this joke was heading Candy nodded her head, “ Ooh that’s a good idea! But should we go with a natural or clown look?” At the quick response to his question Anue finally failed to hold back his laughter and doubled over belly laughing as Erimia let out a loud exasperated, “UgggHHHHH!!!!!” The massive tyrian gently but firmly pressed her talons onto the shoulder blades of the two laughing runners, effectively flattening them against the ground as they heaved in laughter. “No!!! No makeup! Everyone’s already ready, let’s just go!!!” With that the massive tyrian moved toward the cave entrance, leaving the two still laughing runners to slowly get back to their feet. Candy Queen looked over at Anue and snickered, “Yeahh on second thought we’re fine as is. Let’s get going~” Anue laughed again as he agreed and followed Candy Queen out of the cave entrance, the hoard of Forgotten haedians not far behind.
